Gary A. Bacon is an honor graduate of Georgia Southern College, Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. Degree in Political Science, and a Graduate of John Marshal Law School with Doctor of Jurisprudence in Law.
At Georgia Southern College, Mr. Bacon was a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Gamma Beta Phi, The Collegiate Fencing Team, and the Model United Nations Delegation.
Mr. Bacon is also an active member of the State Bar of Georgia.
He is licensed to practice in the Municipal Magistrate, Probate, State, Superior, Appeals and Supreme Courts of Georgia. He is also licensed to practice in Federal Court in the Southern District of Georgia.
Mr. Bacon has lectured at seminars for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and Legal Consultants, Inc. on Hardware and Software in the Law Office and Office Administration. He also teaches seminars on estate planning in schools, churches, and at community meetings.
He served as President of the Atlantic Bar Association for two terms. He was appointed by Governor Harris as Solicitor of Long County and later elected as a County commissioner where he served as Vice-Chairman. He also served as Charter President of the Long County Chamber of Commerce.
